Hah, no gay and no drugs, but I am a back sleeper...I wasn't too scared this time, but the ghostly image and electric current feeling were unsettling this time. I'll try the toe wiggles next time.

It usually happened when I was strung out from back to back all-nighters studying with minimal sleep.

I have experienced this twice and both times were during finals week coffee and adderall binges. Couldn't move or talk for like 5-6 seconds then regained feeling instantly and popped straight up in bed.

I have a major problem with sleep paralysis. It causes me a lot of anxiety. I go through it at least twice a month and the fear I feel is on a level that I don't think can be topped. I feel pure terror during them. After I finally fight long enough to wake myself up, it still takes a good 20 minutes to lose the feeling of fear. I hate this shite with a passion.

I get it every now and then. Usually happens when I'm more stressed than usual or when I'm really, really tired. Mine is usually the dark figure in the doorway, staring at me, then right before I snap out of it, he sprints at me, as if to harm me and I'm slammed back into reality and realize it was just in my head once I actually wake up.

There's a pretty good/scary documentary on it on Netflix called "The Nightmare"

There's people who have it worse than i do. Like happens once or twice a week and I feel so bad for them.

Manipulate said dream and turn the ghoulish figure into a sloot you've always wanted to pound.

When wife asks why you've had a nocturnal emission, tell her it's lack of blow jobs. Win-win.

I've had 4 or so episodes in the last year or two. I also see the dark figure slowly coming at me, but more from above than walking through the door. Pretty scary shite, like it's a demon or something trying to possess me. I basically just try to say some exorcism stuff, but end up just mumbling sounds since I'm paralyzed. It always happens when I'm laying on my back. I'd prefer for it to never happen again.
