I don't think I've ever seen a group of people work with less of a sense of urgency than these people.
You should go to a post office
Went during my lunch break not too long ago. Only two people working behind the counter. It's my turn so I walk up to the available counter. The worker pushes a "Next Window Please" up to the front of the counter (there is no "next window") and nods at it as I am standing there attempting to buy stamps.

Thats why you go to privately owned auto title transfer places that offer DMV services. They can do almost everything you'd need to go to DMV for, you just a pay a couple bucks extra for convenience fee but can get in and out in a couple minutes.

Your ss story means feds are better than random states.
Tried and true.
States are good for experiments.
In CA, you can make an appointment for dmv. Zip.zip. in. Out.
In whole usa, you can make appointment for ss.

Last time I went to renew my license, I paid the 15$ for express service and was done in less than 10 minutes.

I've done this a couple of times. I wonder how long before these places replace most DMV offices. I'll pay the $20 convenience fee any day. I've been to DMV offices in Florida and Georgia. They had their shite together.
