Sisters, 12 and 14, accused of stabbing, shooting mother to death(Mississippi)

Two sisters accused of stabbing and shooting their mother to death Friday night are being held on murder charges, Pike County Sheriff Kenny Cotton told the Enterprise-Journal Monday. Erica Hall, 32, reportedly died at the hands of her 12- and 14-year-old daughters of multiple stab wounds and a gunshot wound to the abdomen after the girls attacked her at their Magnolia house, Cotton said. Sheriff’s deputies responded to the family’s house at 1088 Lawson Road, Magnolia, after relatives who live nearby found Hall lying on the ground outside her house after the attack. Investigators said she had been stabbed multiple times and shot once in the chest with a small-caliber handgun.

Cotton said deputies and paramedics tried unsuccessfully to resuscitate Hall.

“They found out the daughters — two teenagers, juveniles — allegedly did it,” Cotton said.LINK
