Just because a church is mega does not validate it

Preston vs Lakewood- they are extremely different

Jack Graham vs Joel Osteen - very different

Solid theology vs little theology

Church with membership vs church with no membership

The last line is very telling

These three all look the same, one had a pastor making 500k and banging wives of the congregation.

I have no problems with large churches with elected deacon oversight (members of the church, not a "board of overseers" consisting of other megachurch pastors), as long as the pastor's compensation is public knowledge.
