There is a Johnny's in Central and one on Highland & Staring. I enjoy the one on Highland.

Frank's Pizza is one of my favorites. They have burgers, fried oysters, etc. if someone does not want pizza. Decent beer selection too.

Chianti and Guiseppe were decent when I ate there.

Slight thread jack.....is Monjunis still open in Shreveport? The original location was decent and very inexpensive.

You could drive 40 minutes to Cotton Valley and eat at Ho-Made. Because you know its Ho-made.

Great Raft Brewery is really awesome, and they have some nice food trucks that pull up.

Franks pizza, I usually get a pasta with a ap. solid beer

Superior is a go to, but I think Cantina Laredo has better food. Superior has a better atmosphere

The Casinos are a solid choice too.

Shreveport for the weekend Go to Great Raft, have some beers and eat Ki Mexico if they are there

They are at Great Raft every Friday.

I'll add to the list
Oyster Bar (similar to Superior)
Real Pickle- great casual dining, sandwiches, large beer selection
The Rotolo's up here has over 30 craft beers on tap- it could be worth checking out if you like that kind of thing
W's Steakhouse is good if you don't want to go to Bossier for steak- if you do, I prefer 2John's over Silverstar, but to be fair, I haven't been to Silver Star in a few years

Is club Havana still open in Shitport? I used to lay a lot of strange in that place. Superior was always a good margarita place. I enjoyed eating at Savoies s as well.

Bistro Byronz > Great Raft Tap Room > Hustler Club > Casinos.

That's about it.

Zocolo's, Wine Country (get the fried rabbit...) & Bella Fresca Bistro (chicken fried chicken is awesome) are 3 of my favorites. Anvil is legit too. For more casual, hit Great Raft for beer and Ki Mexico - you won't be sorry.

Other mentioned places are solid - Frank's, Twisted Root, Rotolo's, El Compadre and Byronz are all in my regular rotation.
