Haven't been there in a while, but the Blind Tiger downtown was always good for a ribeye and a few beers.

There is a johnny's in BR but it sucks…nothing like it's northern brethren…Frank's pizza is a popular place…i went once and had a pretty bad experience though. shitty bar service and my pizza sucked.
blind tiger is a good suggestion. good eats market for lunch…turkey panini with tomato basil soup
I also enjoy the superior in shreveport…it's by far the best of the 4 locations…margs are all the same but food is better up there. party is good too
these are all casual places…you'll only find a handful of upscale places there not sure if that's what you are looking for though.

I can second this, and add that Texas Street Steakhouse (recently changed its name to Silver Star Steakhouse) is in Bossier City (got to represent)

Blind Tiger is a shithole.
Silverstar Smokehouse in Bossier has good food, nice eye candy and sometimes live music on the weekends.
Herby Ks is great for lunch. Get the Shrimp buster
Papa and Company best hamburger in town imho. Its huge about the size of the plate.
