210 is fully open. I-10 will save about 3 miles but depending on timing could cost you 20-30 minutes if a truck takes a dump trying to climb that big bitch.

I always stay on 10 unless Waze tells me otherwise

I only use the loop if the I-10 bridge has worse traffic

Interesting strategy

Game time decision. Check traffic about 30 minutes out and go from there.

Especially if using Waze, which tends to get stuck on its original route suggestion. On long trips, I restart Waze about every hour, or when I notice that it stops pointing-out lots of stupid roadside stuff.

I'm glad none of us have to make such a decision when driving through Baton Rouge.

Based on the feedback, I’ll be taking the 210 Loop next month, year, decade, or at least until the “Cal-ca-choo” I-10 Bridge gets rebuilt.

Thanks for the feedback, baws

I-10.

I keep hearing about it being a traffic jam, but every time I drive through LC I'm more convinced that no body lives there.

I-10 is a little shorter of a route but the bridge may collapse on you
This is a real issue.

Of course you could say that about a lot of bridges in Louisiana, but the I-10 bridge is in really poor condition.
