Well, this really happened to my friend. He called me asking for advice on how to handle it and I was like "hey, man, i just enjoy 'researching' ppl online; I don't know ish about dealing with international blackmail schemes"
He kept me up to date on the entire thing. The chick initially asked for $5K to be sent to her Western Union or whatever, then she moved it down to $500 then she was gonna accept $50. He was like "i'm just gonna send her $50" and I was like "don't send her shite, doesn't mean she will get rid of the video. She will just know you are more of a sucker and keep hitting you up when she needs a couple extra bucks"

I googled the scam the next morning and they said this is what they do. I remember she said she was a nurse in vegas...and the funny thing is I know I have mentioned I love nurses because I do so she probably got that from my fb
