I wish these immigrants would come to places like Livingston Parish so these hateful people can see that just because you come from a “shite hole” country doesn’t mean you’re a bad person.

Do you mean in area? They are similar in area though large parts of Canada are uninhabited. Population wise they're barely 1/10 the population of the US.
But if you look at lists of refugees by country of Assylum, the US is 86th with .84 refugees per 1,000 people. On the other hand Canada is 41st with 4.19 per 1,000 people. Maybe the US should stop putting it on everyone else and shoulder some of the load?
BTW we're still only 15th by total number of refugees.

Immigrants isn't the same thing as refugees.
In 2015 Canada accepted 149k refugees into a country with ~36MM people. The US accepted 267k refugees into a country with ~323MM people. Looks to me like they're doing their part more than we are.
