MJ2 ducked out quickly after putting out that information today...

but one guy is waaaaaaayyy more at fault. you simply cant go around killing people because they bothered you or acting in a way that you considered to be rude. try to imagine a world where that behavior is acceptable.

This, I'm so tired of the "both are at fault crowd." It's like, no shite of course they both had a part in it. But the guy with the gun, especially being a trained officer, shoulders most of that responsibility. He decided to make it a lethal confrontation.

I think that was said two different ways in my post.
Don't take my words out of context or I'll cap you...

ps. No shite the shooter has greater responsibility.

Two things...
If you've ever wiped popcorn butter into your eye by mistake, you know how debilitating it can be, especially if it's movie butter/oil. You think getting maced hurts, try popcorn butter.
Secondly, being 71, the geriatric fellow was probably reaching for his M&Ms to retaliate but mistakenly pulled out his pistol. All you people calling him names need to think about that.

To many unstable people with guns(legally), you blow away somebody over trivial shite like this you are unstable. Cant believe I havent seen the "well if the victim and his wife had been armed this would not have happened" crowd.

Dude, its fricking Florida. No state can frick things up quite like they can, especially when a trial is concerned.

Old bully cop can't beat everyone up any more so he shoots them. Guess he "didn't have time for this" just like his piece of shite colleague.
I hope he needs fricking diapers by this time next year.

I'm a conservative, but this guy gives concealed carriers a bad name. Unless he was being bum rushed with a knife, he'll rot in prison.
He probably never even had to really pass the concealed carry class or the checks to get the license if he was a former cop.
I'm applying for my concealed carry, but I couldn't imagine shooting someone unless they were reaching for my gun to shoot me with.

If no punch was thrown, just popcorn, he is done. No way he gets off.
So it seems he had the gun on him all the time. Didnt go to car and get it after walking out of theater.
I think for the most part we can all agree to this point
quote:
Neither man threw a punch, according to the report. Witnesses said Oulson hurled a bag of popcorn at Reeves, who then pulled a .380-caliber semiautomatic pistol from his pants pocket and fired once, the report states. The bullet struck Oulson's wife, Nicole, in the hand, which was on her husband's chest as she tried to break up the argument.

In an interview with detectives, Reeves acknowledged the argument and said he feared he was being attacked. Pasco investigators believe Reeves had the gun with him when he first entered the theater, which has a ban on weapons.
