The "good guy" was a cop. Kind of his job to be armed and shoot deranged nutjobs with an M4 who are shooting people. Doesn't diminish his bravery, or the skill he displayed in doing his job, but hardly supports the need for civilians to own M4s.

Yes, as I said a good guy with a gun, remember Virginia and D.C. Have some of the strictest gun laws already (not working out so well) which prevents law abiding citizens from carrying guns, makes you think that if a staffer or bystander had a concealed carry gun that it may of limited some of the injuries

So tell me what an M4 is. You're obviously an expert. What are its capabilities - bullets fired per second -- however firepower or rapidity of fire is measured. Educate me please.

A semi auto rifle are fun for people. Some people enjoy shooting guns, hunting, etc. Just like others enjoy other things they domt "need"
