This guy was in Iraq, for four months as the US was pulling out of Iraq in 2011. What te hell did he se that traumatized him, all the dermo'd gear?

That's standard practice in active shooting situations now - they bring the group out and make sure none of them are armed (i.e. part of a group doing the shooting) - then they pass them off to EMTs, if necessary, and get good IDs on everyone.

Sounds like he may have been in the warrior transition unit buildings.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the base commander said that the guy was currently not a WTU soldier.

It sounds to me like he was a fricking motor T driver. Why would he have PTSD in the first place?
