Why are they so dam expensive and Dicks sporting goods on everything is so out of sight it is ridiculous.

Academy shits all over dicks. I dont know who pays full price at Dicks. the prices are unreal.

I just decided to try a pair so I'd have something for football and baseball practices and not have to worry about messing them up. $ 19 - comfortable, light & look good

The prices at Dicks are negotiated by the brands, not the company. That's why so many of their items are excluded from coupons and discounts - as a condition of their agreement to sell, for example, first-run Nike shoes and apparel, Nike doesn't let them discount it by more than x dollars.
Only a moron would go to Dicks looking for a deal. If you're too poor to afford 2018 product, go to Academy or Nordstrom Rack and buy the 2017 stuff or to Marshalls and buy the 2016 stuff.
