Shining a Light Concert

It's on a few channels tonight (e.i. A&E, History) and on the radio.

It's meant to be a "conversation about race" thing. Race is being promoted as the biggest issue this country faces. It looks like they'll be interviewing the community where that white guy killed all those black people with a flag.

This really grinds my gears. That an agenda can be pushed this way to make people feel important and relevant using a topic that's drivin not by fact but emotion and more ironically ratings.

Do people really buy into this crap? I work with minorities. I've had minority superiors. I have minority friends. A few are close enough to where we can discuss this type of stuff. And even they think it's bullshite. It bothers me how easily people are manipulated. Not talking black or white. Mostly young and dumb who have this odd desire to always feel important, special, and hip. The next 15 years will be interesting as these idiots enter the real world and have their own bills, offspring, etc.
