Cut yourself. I hear sharks hate blood.

That’s like saying a grizzly bear is the best coyote deterrent.
I saw something saying there's never been a recorded killer whale attack on humans. Impressive to me if so.

Yeah, and he definitely made it count.
Think he meant that they say there’s never been a recorded attack on a human in the wild.

I have been saltwater fisherman my whole life and surfcast next to black tips, sand sharks and bulls, had a bull snag my stringer more than once, not scared of sharks. (Makos are the biggest pain in the arse I deal with, definitely the smartest shark. ) So I am fine with them. They come in cut me off a few times, I go to another spot.
But do to the re-emergence of elephant seals etc on the west coast, where you have 15,000-20,000 seal colonies where there were none 20 years ago, and seals along Cape cod and east coast, the beach communities are now in a “Jaws like Amity Dilemma”
Since the passage of the marine mammal protection act of 1972, seal populations have exploded, which in time brings back big sharks, which occasionally accidentally kill people which freaks beach visitors out, cost resort towns money etc.
So what are big sharks scared of, Orcas or Killer Whales which are actually the ocean top predators. So if you played Orca calls around surfing areas when people are around wouldn’t that drive out big sharks? What would be the unintended consequences?

So Orcas drive off and kill Great Whites and Tigers usually farther off shore from what i've seen. I don't know that Orca calls would have any affect on Bull sharks though, since they congregate closer to shore? Does anyone know if Bull sharks and blacktips etc react to Orcas?

Black tips are dangerous now too? WTH, I have caught a ton of them so 150 pounds or so, very good eating.

True story, a kid hit a bull shark accidentally with a jet ski a few years back in orange beach (between Caribe and Ono Island I think ) and it pissed the shark off so it knocked the kid off the jet ski. (it didn’t bite him)
They are called bull sharks because they have more Testerone then A Brahma bull
