I caught the same size bull shark last month in destin

No way that sucker was the one who nimbled on him. had to have been a 1-2 ft baby shark

I say 3-4 footer and it went for the white part on the heel...thought it was a fish.

Times Pic article on it included this passage:

"But according to Bob Shipp's penultimate book on area species, Guide to Fishes of the Gulf of Mexico, no one should be surprised the lake is home to bull sharks."

I emailed the reporter the definition of penultimate and asked if perhaps he intended something else.

He never replied, but they changed the word to authoritative.
