I caught a 5-6 ft bull shark in Florida last week and it took about 20 minutes to get it to the boat. No way a 5 ft shark did that little damage as those suckers are strong.
I caught the same size bull shark last month in destin
No way that sucker was the one who nimbled on him. had to have been a 1-2 ft baby shark

I say 3-4 footer and it went for the white part on the heel...thought it was a fish.

Well, after seeing the pix of the bite, the shark expert said it was a 5' bull, so...

Times Pic article on it included this passage:
"But according to Bob Shipp's penultimate book on area species, Guide to Fishes of the Gulf of Mexico, no one should be surprised the lake is home to bull sharks."
I emailed the reporter the definition of penultimate and asked if perhaps he intended something else.
He never replied, but they changed the word to authoritative.

Small bite for a shark big enough to be a likely attacker. I also say gar, same bite radius but a bigger fish.
I have seen the small version of Sand Sharks over there in the North Shore and Irish Bayou
