The Southern Hemisphere would be 3 times the size of the Northern Hemisphere if this were the case, and there are direct flights from Chile to Australia, despite being on opposite sides of the flat earth map. Every pilot and sailor on the planet would have to be in on this.

The term Earth comes from the Latin term for "flattened disc". It's no surprise that some people might find that suspicious.

read some shite about this the other day on reddit I think. Someone asked what happened if I went to the edge of the 'flat' earth.....they said impossible because 400' high walls of ice keep you from leaving and if you try to fly a private plane over the walls of ice the military shoots you down

I get what he his saying. The earth does seem flat from ground level. I assume gravity causes the phenomenon.
