Delta’s “Memphis and south thereof” prediction seems to be missing the mark
I said the line of storms (QLCS) would move through central Arkansas to Memphis and discrete cell potential would be south of Memphis

nfortunately, many people take very little responsibility for themselves and won't do simple things like buy a NOAA weather radio, download an app that sends alerts for warnings, or simply turn on the built in alerts in their phone. Instead, they want the government (either city, state, or federal) to provide a warning system for them that is faultless and requires no action from them.
It’s like they expect a mother fricker to knock on their door and tell them to take cover

Idk why the frick NWS Memphis just issued that tornado warning over Memphis unless they are just saying strong wind=tornado warning which they have a history of doing

Memphis now under a considerable severe thunderstorm warning for 70+ MPH winds & hail 3/4" in diameter
Sirens are going off around my office, they usually test them every Wednesday at 3:30, but they started at 3:26. I guess they're on for real

Yet another example of why the fricking things should be torn down

I see what they're warning but I also doubt it'll ever touch the ground.

NWS Paducah finally put us under tornado watch. They were late on the tornado emergency for Mayfield.

My sister in Memphis says no worries about stuff blowing through her windows, she’s shut the blinds and the curtains
