Just curious, what is the reasoning behind this?
More time to heat up without rain. Low developing is pulling up to the NE, which will increase the low level winds and keep a good moisture feed off the gulf from the SE, in front of convection to the south. Just a little better from an energy perspective. Then the dynamics get a little bit better as the low gets stronger and closer to the area based on the spread of what I've seen from the high res models.
Basically, where the best mix of heat and wind profile through the atmosphere seem to be on a path to meet up.

Atalanta has zero snow equipment
January 29, 2014
The city of Atlanta has 40 snow plows, which is half of the 80 pieces of snow removal equipment St. Paul sends out every storm.

Are you talking more about the line coming later?
I'm talking about the best wind profiles for severe stuff seem to be moving it. It'll require a storm getting a good updraft going for this to materialize and it seems more like it'll be from the line as it rolls in.
It's bigger picture than BR too. The low level jet is getting stronger for the whole region and that will help get rotation going in cells. The good news is with all the convection that has fired, rotation in the updrafts is probably going to get interference from outflow from other cells but potential is there nonetheless.

So there may likely be some little jet outs from the line as it gets closer?

No he’s not. Read what he said again.

Which is it Duke?
That rotation of cells is more likely now, but for Louisiana there's interference that should keep them from getting tornadic but for brief spin ups. It's how the risk has increased since noon and what is serving to limit the higher impact risk.
I could have been clearer.
