Top end of the cells approaching the OK line has a suspect rotation. About the area the SPC highlighted for potential tornadoes.
Another brief spin up heading in toward Bowie. Nothing major for either.

Using my untrained eyes, it looks like the Low is right over Amarillo

It's hard to tell really, cheating off the SPC it's over the OK panhandle. Not much of a low though, and a deeper low sneaking in from the south over Mexico per their charts.

I just, fortunately, landed at DFW. I see where Love Field is shut down to in and out traffic. I'm ready to get home, move shite around in my garage and get the car in. Damn. Looks like a bad night ahead.

The Cell to the southeast of DFW is interesting as well.
These storms seem to be not taking long to get to severe rating.
Scope is picking up 70mph winds in that cell

I thought they shut down DFW too.

A good follow on Facebook for the DFW people is Steve McCauley. He is usually pretty accurate and throws some educational stuff in there as well. Been following him for a few years now

DarthRebel's guy with a good synopsis.

Catching some "giant hail" readings on the hydrometer classification. Heading into Sunset, TX. Where you're seeing the highest returns on radar in the original cluster.

It's the same info the NWS will get but remember that's well off the ground at that distance from the radar site. Still roaring though.
