Farmers Branch checking in here (middle of the Valley View/Brookhaven/Vitruvian Triangle area). I was actually expecting that line to be a little more intense. Haven't taken my eyes off the one behind it yet, though.

Bummer for you. I’ve been training pretty hard and playing daily to get ready for the next tournament allowed to happen. Squat jumps and reverse fly's mean I’m always sore and exhausted. Tomorrow is recovery day so I’m going to slam the rest of this drink, dammit

Glad to hear you made it through. The front line should be much worse than the following cell. Mostly winds, rain, thunder & lightening though.

A drink!! THAT'S what I've been missing. Good call!

ETA:

Still having some sporadic close lightening strikes. The kind where you get thunder that crackles a little.

Stay safe out there, folks!

I got a weather radio recently. It has sounded 5 times today: AM alert, nighttime watch, and 3 severe thunderstorm warnings in the past hour. The 1st and 3rd warning tonight include my area.

Flower Mound and we barely got anything. Sat out on the patio with a drink and enjoyed the light show for a little while

That place has gotten so much of my money. Any time Petty Theft is playing there, I'm getting good and hammered

I live right across 121 from there. Which is kinda ironic now because me and my fiancé’s first date was there.

Haven’t actually eaten the food there. Only drinks. I don’t go often either. If I want drinks I go to Mi Dia From Scratch. They have the best margaritas in the world. Been getting 6 to go every weekend during the quarantine.

The Door in Dallas for me, which I'm pretty sure started my tinnitus in my ears I wasn't about to be a bitch arse and put ear plugs in.

Thankfully I know a couple people over there so I have a place to crash

Built one of those a mile away from me a couple months back. I've swooped around that parking lot a number of times since the quarantine. They give you a shite ton of food with their to-go fajitas and yeah, the tubs of margaritas are always happening

The squall line stretches from Dallas to Indianapolis

I checked radar, and it's a little longer than that still. I am surprised that nobody has mentioned the term derecho in regards to the severe thunderstorm outbreak that's in progress. I wonder if the system will qualify for that label.

I have mine programmed by county and set to only give me watches and warnings for severe thunderstorms and tornados. Otherwise it goes off all day.
