LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The staff at Gene Messer Volkswagen got a terrible shock on Wednesday, when they saw a dead body wrapped in a sheet in the back of a vehicle that had come in for an oil change.

They immediately called police but the man was transporting his mother's remains from Utah to Aspermont, Texas and had all the appropriate documentation.

And not an April Fools either...

“I bought a doughnut and they gave me a receipt for the doughtnut... I don't need a receipt for the doughnut. I give you money and you give me the doughnut, end of transaction. We don't need to bring ink and paper into this. I can't imagine a scenario that I would have to prove that I bought a doughnut. To some skeptical friend, 'Don't even act like I didn't get that doughnut, I've got the documentation right here... It's in my file at home. ...Under "D".'”

If that were me, my mom would haunt the shite out of us. We'd bite on the radiator flush every fricking time from here on out.

I bet the guys working at the oil change place needed a stiff drink after that experience.

It is common courtesy to get an oil change before transporting dead bodies.
