Stories like this are the reason I'll never get married. Relationships are an investment but when the system is set up to actually lose a significant amount on that investment if it doesn't work out well it's just not worth taking the risk anymore. Also not helping knowing there are women like this that have no cap on their emotions and go straight for the frickin throat.

The court knows he wants his dog.
But this woman is now claiming she is disabled too and they were training the dog as a dual service dog. Which is total nonsense because it's 1 dog 1 owner in service dogs. Very rarely would they be allowed to double up (both parties deaf etc)

I'm not really sure how this works, but when he got the dog from whatever organization trained it to be a service dog, wouldn't they have put the adoption papers in HIS name?
I mean, it seems like they wouldn't just give a service dog trained for a deaf person to someone who was hearing, so wouldn't there be some kind of paperwork involved in the adoption process?

It's at his house. Which is also not in his possession anymore. She had him removed from the house via a bogus TRO.

Sounds like both parties made a claim, neither was overly compelling regarding the actual services rendered by the dog and the court decided to keep the dog in the home on a pendente lite basis.

That is why they have TRO's and emergency hearings. Very limited issue.

I think they train the dog to listen to music for them. That and door bells, dogs are good for that.

Seems pretty simple to me. Wait until ex is gone and then take the dog. If anyone comes looking for the dog just play dumb. The world is an imperfect place, dogs run away all the time.
