I dont disagree with most of your points about the trend away from normal media.
Share some of your "non-sponsored" sites on youtube please

same.
you’ll appreciate this. remember the story 2 weeks ago about the shootout in Spring/Klein off of Cypresswood?
Well anyhow, ABC13 painted it as a “facebook market place deal gone wrong” leaving a sweet young AA teenage boy dead and his family devastated.
Welp, I know a constable in that precinct and my wife teaches in that district. Turns out, it wasn’t a “facebook market place deal gone wrong” but was actually a drug deal at a known section 8 traphouse gone wrong. And the poor sweet innocent kid killed is a little thug who dropped out of high school in 9th grade.
we don’t hate the media in this country enough…why lie or fabricate the truth to protect these people? what does ABC13 gain from it?

I watch Gutfeld a few days a week, and that's about it. It's podcasts or music for space filler when getting ready in the morning, etc. I knew when Edie from Fox and Friends burned me out in the AMs while traveling (no DVR, absolutely nothing else for "noise" in the hotel room in the mornings) I was done, and that was more than 10 years ago. I used to watch Mark Levin's show when I ran out of stuff to do, but I know where he's going as soon as he starts talking and got bored.

Influencers and "independent writers" are no better.
Its hard to figure out which version of reality to follow these days.

Read articles? Sometimes. Nothing has come close to replacing print news media. Twitter/X is a joke in this regard.
It makes sense this gets downvoted because you can tell a lot of posters on here are victims to the algorithm. Go to Reddit and you can tell the same thing, but on the different side (although its not nearly as bad here as it is on Reddit).
I put the news on in the morning while I am getting ready. Local news informs me whether the ferry is running or not. They have a twitter account, but sometimes they will not update that bitch until an hour after they stop running.
There isn't a single media outlet that reports 100% accurate information because if they did, they wouldn't be in business long.

MSNBC, CNN - It's amazing that these two bashed Trump 24/7 for four years every freaking day with made up lies and bullshite.
Do you take issue with Fox kissing his rear end 24/7?

You mean what print media used to be, before they just started all getting the same story off the wire services and using different headlines depending on where they were publishing. Even the WSJ went the way of stupid during COVID.

I watch it to know how off the rails and anti-American Tiger Drippings is.
Doge? Really? They stole the name from an illicit crypto (means dead in the crypt) currency and parade disrespectfully around the Oval Office without a tie on and a kid. That’s no place for a child.
The 6th graders are running the high school.

It's funny the people that say they no longer trust MSM but turn around and watch some random person on YouTube/X that could be getting paid by a foreign country's version of USAID or even our own USAID.
There's always a counterculture movement in every facet of society; this move to nontraditional media follows that pattern.

I'm not sure real journalism even exists anymore. Not on a commercial scale, its all yellow journalism now.

MAGA turned against FOX after the 2020 election because of Arizona.

So it was pretty much like every other murder reported? The media outlets will contact family members to get information. The family members are not going to say "yeah... it was a drug thing".
But you dirty devil you. You have your ears to the ground and know a constable so you know the streets. Gee buddy, I hope you are doing swell.

Negative. Everything is either fear porn or depressing.

I don't, but my 82 year old parents are glued to MSNBC/CNN in their home about 10 hours out of every day.
It literally reprogrammed their brains. There is no joy in their lives anymore. They don't laugh, they don't enjoy any activities. They eat quietly and watch "the news".
Its a fricking shame.
