Those things creep me out. There is a really interesting BBC documentary about women who treat them like real infants.

I knew someone whose wife had one because they had a few miscarriages and couldn't carry to term. She dressed it and brought it out with her in a stroller. It was really sad.

Yeah, that's how the women on the documentary were. Took them out for walks and "fed" and "changed" them. Very sad.

I can't even imagine the heartbreak of that. We have had women in my group who have done to commemorate a loved one. A lady's only daughter (a young college student) died. The mom had a doll that had always looked like her daughter. It was a collector's doll modeled after a teen (not a baby doll or creepily realistic).
They took a lot of the girls clothes to make little outfits for the doll. Our group got involved with it.
I think this is a great as a way to keep a piece of the clothing, yet not hoarding and memorializing everything. The doll would be passed on to a grandchild in a few years along with the little collection of clothing that almost any girl would love.

The internet has exposed the fact that human beings are weird as frick.

I clicked and bought one. 550 for a dead baby doll is unbeatable.

Its what they call a "real doll". It's a way too fricking lifelike and creepy as shite baby doll.
No, no, no, no, no. A Real Doll is what these things will grow up to be. Real Dolls are fricking lifelike.
