I'd like for you to answer because I'm really wanting to understand your thinking here.

like I said, scary how some of you see this
No it's scary how most of you see it ...
I would be the first one defending the girl if I thought the cop overreacted , for one he never threw a punch but in the thread title reads that she was brutally beaten ..
Then you can see her mouthing off as he approached her , finally it's obvious she tried to flee the scene ...

he put his forearm over her throat and threw her to the ground?
it was obviously excessive force for the situation

I'm sure she was annoyed
quote:

not obvious at all, she could have just been shifting her weight
but the cop did not give her a chance to reveal her actions, as he grabbed her within a half a second of her moving
my thoughts that if this happened with your daughter you would see things differently
*and I know none of your daughters would ever disrespect a cop, blah, blah, blah

Tell me, when your down there with your mouth full of pig cock, do you prefer to cup the balls while he blows his load down your throat or do you grab his arse and just hold on until he's done?

You are a drama queen. You accuse me of being detached from reality from my post and now this? Yeah, the system can be improved but to say that it's broken is a joke. The same clowns like you that say this will be the first one to call on said system when they need it. Selfish pricks.

I stated facts

i think everyone is annoyed when they are pulled over. doesnt mean im going to start yelling at the cop before he even gets out of the car.
quote:

lol come on. i just watched those few seconds around 5 times. its a stretch to think she was shifting her weight. you dont shift your weight by lifting the leg that isnt even on the ground higher in the air and starting to lunge forward.
once the struggle started, i think you have to border on the line of excessive force to get the person down.

my thoughts that if this happened with your daughter you would see things differently
well duh. everyone would treat this different if it were their kid. i think thats just natural.
you might think differently if you were a cop and had to deal with the bullshite that they deal with every day.

Yes, because it was ignorant.

The system is broken and you can thank the war on drugs for that.

Your feelings are hurt. Are you a cop?
There are things we need cops for, we don't need cops to be "proactively" stopping people for bullshite reasoning and getting physical when they "mouth off"

no argument here
I'm sure cops get frustrated and annoyed as well
but when they take their anger/frustration out, they should called out on it
they volunteered for this job, they should not be immune to scrutiny/criticism, its part of having a public job

Not with a 15 year old girl and back up, at least IMO. It looks like he uses a Taser at the end of the video as well.

Maybe, but if dealing with the bullshite everyday leads you to acting like this, then perhaps you should find another job. I just can't imagine an officer watching that video and thinking - damn, nice police work.

Bingo. Calling out bad cops does the good cops justice. The bad ones are giving the good ones a crappy reputation.

How is it facts , none of us can even hear any audio , I'll even admit that I'm not sure what exactly happened ....

Yea I get its a girl and all but look how much it took for him to get the girl down. If he doesnt do what he did, how does he detain the girl? She wasnt complying from the get go. That was obvious. If he uses less force, he might never get the girl down and the struggle lasts longer, which could make the situation much worse.
His back up was holding off the guy trying to interfere. Just because they are teenagers doesnt mean they cant grab a gun and use it.

I dont think this would be used as an instructional tool
Like others have said, audio would really put this into perspective.

That's funny. Nope. And I've had my challenges with them but I also have common sense unlike you.
To say the system is broken proves that you are easily influenced by media and lack the intellegence to form sound opinions based on reality which is that law enforcement has done much more positive than negative. I'm guessing there has been a situation in your past that has influenced your perception of reality but of course you'll come running for them when you need it bc you sound like a whiny bitch.
