Go drink beer! There's 3 damn breweries.....Great Raft, Red River in SHV, then Flying Heart in old Bossier.
*Eat @ Frank's Neapolitan Pizza...it's fantastic
Are the MudBugs in town?
The Noble Savage(dtn) very cool bar with great scotch selection

One can easily make the argument that they are the best or second best brewery in the state.

Spent five hours in a Shreveport neurosurgeon's office with my dad Tuesday. Had planned to go to Monjunis for lunch afterwards, but instead we just ate "lunch" at Cane's.

Strawn's Eat Shop has good pies. Their address is 125 E Kings Hwy, Shreveport, LA 71104.

In September you'll be able to check out The Battle on the Border!

That place is great for breakfasts. I love the biscuits.

I agree that their other food is mediocre.

Then check out the Robinson Film Center. Movie theater with a bar/restaurant as well. It's not like Movie Tavern or Alamo Drafthouse, though. Can only take drink inside.

Playing Manchester By the Sea a couple more days, then Silence. Maybe something else.

Exactly why I love it and why it's perfect for tailgating/bbqing, post-yard work, and golf. Given your current location, you are just a poor decision maker.
