Go eat a shrimp buster with seafood gumbo at Herby-K's for me. I don't get back home to eat there very often so this is usually what I am craving. Make sure you pack an empty stomach and a bulletproof vest though.

For the pretty large population of the combined Shreveport/Bossier area, it really is a lame city with not a lot to offer anyone between the ages of 18 and 40.

I haven't been to Herby Ks since the one in Alexandria burned down or closed, don't really remember which...the building did burn though

I feel like this place is pretty over rated. A couple of the things on the menu are decent but the shrimp buster is the most underwhelming and flavor lacking dish in Shreveport. It is simply large shrimp tails pounded thin with no seasoning on the shrimp or batter it requires you to dip into a equally disappointing sauce.
