Who was telling him to go get in the car? He kept saying “you can’t win.” He said “they done gave you an opportunity” to get in the car.

He seems to have seen the whole incident, but I couldn’t find an interview of him.

Of course Chauvin’s defense will be he wasn’t trying to kill the guy, that he was doing what he was trained to do, that it was necessary, that Floyd resisted, and that only somebody with his peculiar health conditions and drugs in his system would have died in that scenario.

I assume he will also defend himself by claiming he really didn’t put enough weight on the neck to kill the guy, and that he was confident death wasn’t reasonably likely while he was restraining with the knee. I don’t think his defense will prevail, but I do think he wasn’t putting full weight on the neck and lifted it up at times. Plus, he will argue that his ability to talk indicated, to him at least, that he was breathing okay. could even be that the training tells you as much. Idk.

Anyway, wonder what the bystander would say about all that. He seemed to be more focused on Floyd than what the officers were doing to Floyd.

What about after he stopped breathing for several minutes and had no pulse?

Just playing possum to trick the cop?

They thought he was on something. Probably will say they thought he passed out from being high.

Also I don’t think anybody found he had no pulse for several minutes while they were on top of him. Please
Prove me wrong tho.

Me either. Chauvin and accomplices are rightfully screwed.

‘His ability to talk signaled he was ok’ - chauvin
‘I cant breathe I’m gonna die’ - Floyd.
Cops are 1st responders with a duty to provide medical aid, none of them did.

Seems like this bystanders words were before Floyd was brought to the ground and being killed over several minutes.

The jury will see body cam footage from 4 angles (~36 minutes of video) of a small crowd gathering, growing concerned and shouting police down that they were killing him, Floyd pleading for his life, at least 1 patriot citizen trying to physically intervene, and inter-cop discussion questioning their actions. All in real time.
These 4 thugs are gonna spend some time in the pen after getting a trial by jury Which they had denied Floyd.

If they don’t plead, which they should. And which I hope they do. God forbid they should somehow get off. That would be an unholy shite storm.

I can be wrong but I’ve seen it repeated that kneeling on necks is not proper procedure and not an approved restraint. If so everything else is irrelevant for 3rd Degree Murder in Minnesota. All they need to show is depraved heart and inherently dangerous action. Given the officers actions of waving off other officers and length of time on the neck, that should be easy enough, and using an unapproved restraint is an inherently dangerous action.

What I’ve seen is that it is in the police manual (okay to use) but only if the person is actively resisting.

They should plead, because they are guilty. Their body cam footage will be incredibly damning and indefensible if they take it to trial.

There should be an unholy shitstorm if these 4 thugs walk somehow. Cops should be held to a higher standard, there was 0 justification for homicide. Floyd deserved a trial by jury, not a death sentence. Ironically if Chauvin had allowed Floyd his right to a tria lthese 4 thugs wouldn’t be getting their right to a trial.
