Is that the part where he "misses his Uncle Charles y'all"?

I am specifically referring to the rapture as it is interpreted by pre-millenials. That concept is not in scripture.
Unless that scripture is the Scofield Bible. Or if you believe the "Left Behind" book series as being biblical.
Eschatology is kinda "heavy" for the OT.

The verse is refrensing when the faithful die such as Abraham Moses and Christians under the New law die they are not dead as a dog but they are alive in the same realm that Lazarus was in. When Jesus comes back to judge the world, the dead in Christ will rise first that is get their everlasting body then those still alive will receive theirs. The verse you mentioned is talking about judgement day as refreshed many times in the bible. There is no actual reference of a rapture taking place where there would be God returning then 7 years of war and tribulation then a third coming.

the word rapture is never found in the bible. God destroyed the world once already with Water and by faith only a few souls were saved which was Noah and his family. When judgement day comes the earth will be destroyed once again by fire and the unfaithful shall burn in an everlasting Hell where there's no Gatorade to quench your thirst.

people who believe in the rapture think they are the only ones going there.
