I guess the lifetime warranty on my Craftsman tools finally went out.

Black & Decker owns Craftsman now.

I’ve driven past that Clearview Sears location a couple dozen times over the past few years, and have seen 4 or 5 people coming in or out during that time. Usually looks like it’s closed because nobody even parks on that end of the lot.

You can actually get some very nice work clothes from there for almost nothing because no one shops there. I'm surprised the stores have stayed open this long. They have been empty for years. Sears was once everything in America.

I went to the elmwood location about 7 years ago looking for a specific extensions cord for some Christmas lights. The whole place smelled like one giant hot fart

The little Sears appliance and tool centers are actually very useful.

Absolutely. I've gotten some solid bargains over the years.

Kmart is one step above dollar general. It makes wal mart look like Bloomingdales

At least dollar general has competent management that knows they suck so they pick rural locations with no other options

If they would bulldoze the sears and sears automotive center (already vacant) on clearview, that would be a fantastic location for a top golf.

they already have plans for the city/interstate corner of the property, and I would be willing to bet that you are going to end up seeing the Clearview Mall grow into a retail mecca soon, most likely in the outdoor mall/mixed use style

They don’t have the space or tenants for that. With those tenants, I’d hardly consider it a mall.

I thought Kmart was the purchaser.

Go look at the site on satellite view, they have the space to do whatever they want

They have any sales with the news of closing? I wouldn’t mind picking up some tools and shite.
