SCUBA Divers: Anyone use GoPro Hero4 for diving and do you need red lens?

We have a GoPro Hero 4 (it's the small cube looking one) and we're trying to find a diving case and red lens kit for it. Can't find anything. The only stuff we find is either a red lens that fits right to it without the case, or a case that does not have a red lens. Nothing with both as a combination.
Anyone have a suggestion?
ETA: I may have just found one

I did it in Cayman earlier this year.
My first dive (90 ft) I had the red lens on and it absolutely fricked up the whole dive. Everything was red.
Maybe I did something wrong, but I'm glad on my second dive the roll in entry dislodged the lens and I lost it to the depths.
The images from the Hero 4 Silver were great even without the lens.
***I prefer shallow dives, no more than 50 feet, so the lens wasn't an issue in gin clear water of Cayman.
ETA: we used the GoPro handheld. It has a grip that floats, which is useful.

Okay, so maybe that's where I really need to start.
My reading said that anywhere below like 15-20 ft and you start to lose red. You're saying at no more than 50 feet that you can go clear and you're ok?

I'm no professional, but the images were good.

If diving past about 30-40' then you will get truer colors with a red or magenta filter. I have the Snake River red filter and have been impressed with dive video out of my GoPro Hero4. It snaps right onto the dive housing. Be sure to get the micro bubbles off of the lens before you start filming.

You need a lot of light for the red lense. They are great for shallow reefs up to about about 30'. I have tried several and still prefer to do post editing.
ETA: You will lose red wavelengths almost immediately at depth, but what I've found is that without crystal clear water and tons of sunlight, it would be difficult to gain an advantage with the filter without additional lighting.

Took this back in Feb in Cozumel at about 50'. Hero 3 Black no filter.

Amazing picture! Wow
ETA: I guess I'll just purchase a case that has the ability to install a red lens and try it out for myself during the dive (with and without lens shots). I will bump this thread when I have my results.

Trust me, I dive every week. I've had my fair share of dives ruined by the cheap filters. Don't waste your money.

Final note, I was probably 3 inches away from this turtle. If you have a GoPro with the fish eye, you will need to be almost touching your subject to get this kind of picture. When I took it, I assumed it would be an up close shot of his face, turns out the lense is much wider than expected.

You just snap the filter onto the housing, it is almost idiot proof. I have both the red and magenda filters for my gopro. If it is a clear and sunny day you probably will not need the filter, but if it is overcast the red light goes away once you are about 20 feet so it is a pre-dive decision if I attach it or not. I then use the gopro studio software on my computer to touch the pictures up if the filter made it too red.

Scooba, my wife and I just finished our class and are doing out check out dive at Pensacola. I don't expect it to be mind blowing. We're more or less just doing it to get our certification.
Our next REAL trip will likely be to Cozumel just based on cost/benefit. It's close and we hear it's a top international destination.

The Hero4 session doesn't really have a housing. The actual camera is able to dive without a housing up to 33ft, but I don't want that to limit me on my dives. Are you saying that you clip the lens directly to the camera?
See photo of the Hero4 session.

My friends dive Roatan, and they say it's cheap and awesome.

Get the dive housing for it ASAP if they make one. You want the camera to be able to go as deep as you are certified to go.

I have the Hero4 and it just snaps onto the housing, but I don't know about the session.
ETA: BTW anti-fog inserts a must when diving.
