Same here.
We got our kids some scratch offs for their Christmas stockings and they “won” a few bucks. They were quite complicated and had a scrabble letter matching game. They want your typical match three in a row and you win. When we cash them in today I was telling the store clerk how it took us a while to figure out whether or not we won, he simply said just scratch off the barcode and bring it in and I will scan it. That quickly tells you whether or not you won.

Seems like the store clerk, who probably has a questionable life, could just steal winning tickets this way.
