For Safety, The Scooby Gang Won't Unmask The Swamp Beast Until After Lockdown

quote:

NEW ORLEANS, LA—After a series of mishaps and a chase sequence, the Scooby gang successfully ensnared the swamp beast that had been prowling a bayou just outside New Orleans. They were about to unmask the ghost and find out who was really behind everything when Shaggy exclaimed, “Zoinks! You’ll kill Grandma!”

If anyone hasn't yet seen Scoob! I'd highly recommend it. The story is fictional but it shows us a glimpse into Shaggy and Scooby's childhood which we never really get in the other films.

The only one opposed to this was the diminutive dog, Scrappy-Doo, who said that COVID-19 actually came from 5G cell towers.

Best line in there. Scrappy's red pilled.

The talking dog made me skeptical at first but i was believing it until the third act. I mean, come on, they didn’t really think we’d fall for inter dimensional time travel did they?

Yeesh!

Scooby Doo actually has two new orleans bayou-based movies, and they are both pretty good.

My 5yo is obsessed with Scooby Doo right now.

Watching it recently made me think- the last remaining ethnic group that it's still ok to openly stereotype and mock are Cajuns. It's both funny and sad on multiple levels.

I think part of it is because Cajuns aren't crybabies, and are very proud of their heritage, and don't mind being made fun of. They truly don't GAF.
