Still blows here in New Orleans. I just wish school would've been cancelled 2 hours ago so I didn't have to take that test

ADDITIONALLY...VARIOUS CONVECTION-ALLOWING MODEL SOLUTIONS SUGGEST
THE POTENTIAL FOR ADDITIONAL BANDS OF SEMI-DISCRETE STORMS FORMING
THIS AFTERNOON ALONG CONFLUENCE ZONES OVER ERN PORTIONS OF LA AND AR
INTO WRN MS...AHEAD OF THE MAIN QLCS. SHOULD THIS SCENARIO UNFOLD
AS FORECAST...A MORE SUBSTANTIAL TORNADO THREAT WOULD EXIST AND THIS
IS ADDRESSED WITH THE 10 PERCENT TORNADO PROBABILITY
CONTOUR.

I live across the street from my daughters' school and its been nothing but rain thus far. Honestly no reason to let out, but they let out preemptively a ton since the Atlanta bus incident. They've really lived off of that for a long time. Meh, better safe than sorry and I get to spend some more time with my kids.

Just got out to take them to dance and it's flooding pretty much everywhere. Good call by the OPSB.
