Schlage keypad lock?

I currently have a top (deadbolt) and bottom lock and am looking to replace it with a Schlage keypad lock.
I can easily replace the top lock (deadbolt) with the Schlage keypad lock, but what do I do with the bottom lock?
I am essentially looking for a dummy handle for the bottom or something equivalent. The purpose of this is to allow my daughter(s) (no pics) access inside to our home from the school bus in case an adult is not home.
Suggestions?

That's what I do.

This is the one I have:
I have a deadbolt above it that I lock at night. The inside lock on the schlage doesn't actually lock. It either makes the door unlocked from both sides or requires a code from the outside. Basically there is no way to stop the code from opening the door unless you lock the deadbolt.

Put the Schlage keypad lock on another entry access door other than the front.

Got a kwikset deadbolt on my front door. I push one button and it locks as I go out for the night. A great purchase and so convenient when your hands are full .
I never lock my bottom lock because honestly if someone wants inside your house and they get past the deadbolt, the bottom lock is pointless anyway.

I've thought of that but am concerned that somehow someway it would get locked and they would be locked out.

I think the best option may be to install Schlage lock on bottom and keep top deadbolt lock (must have a key to lock, not a turn key) unlocked.

Have this one as well and it is fantastic, 0 complaints.
Just curious, have you considered just giving her a key. Just seems if she's old enough to be home alone, she's old enough to manage to keep track of a key.
No knock on switching your locks, just a question.
