Anybody else here enjoy DXing? Ive been enjoying the hobby for 40 years and recently got a Homepatrol2 so I can get digital transmissions now. Wanting to chat with locals into the hobby as well as shortwave and ham.

Picked up a Baofeng handheld about a month ago. Trying to figure out how all this malarkey works.

Yep. Do you have a base model? I'm looking to upgrade. Does it work with encrypted channels? How much you paid?
