But the bear was bigger...


And I can't post the rest w/o getting banned. But it was a schoolyard fave into the '80s. I was singing it long before I ever saw the TV show.

It was a big hit in 4th grade in the 70's too and I would imagine before that. Those a-hole kids brought up in the 60's are the source of all our problems today.

The "Save the Alamo" group is hilarious. The revitalization of the area is purely to better the experience for visitors.

Little known fact:

Phil Collins has the largest collection of Alamo-related memorabilia in private hands.

He's trying to (or has) negotiate(d) to donate them to the Alamo or the State of Tejas.

I got to shake hands and take a photo with Fess Parker when I was a kid. He was the celebrity grand marshal at the Colfax Pecan Festival.

Motherfricker sold the shite out of some fake coonskin caps. Like printing money.
