I'm trying to get a better idea of where the property lines lay on 3 lots in Covington. I looked at the assessor's website and found property descriptions that included lot #s, but no dimensions or benchmarks. I know the property was surveyed about five years ago, but can't physically find a stake or ribbon anywhere. I don't have access to a copy of the survey. Any suggestions?

Is it a historic parking lot?

I think most Parish assessors websites have these maps. I've looked at the EBR and Livingston ones before for various things.

If all else fails, go to a title company. Most likely they will help you for free.

Onx maps app. You're welcome.

It's called "onx hunt".

Thanks for the suggestion. Tried it. It's exactly what I'm looking for except it doesn't show the property lines for the subdivision I'm interested in!
(It's a cool app for outdoorsmen.)

I was on the assessor's website last night, but couldn't find that tool. It's possible I overlooked it. I was searching on my phone.

Found the property and its assessed values, but couldn't find a property line overlay.

Tigerpaw beat you to the drop. OnX Hunt was the first response.

Probably, but I was hoping to find it online and not have to leave the house.

Find subdivision plat in clerk or court office. Book/page reference to the plat might be referenced on assessor a website. The plat will at least give you a survey so you can possibly find lot corners, likely marked with buried 1/2" rebar.

Thanks for the link, but it doesn't have data for the area I'm looking for. All the streets are marked in red and when you zoom, there's no property detail.

There's a large area of Covington that has no data. From 21 east to the Bogue Falaya is largely blank. I'm looking for info in Old Landing, which is between the Tchefuncte and the Bogue Falaya. No details on your link and no details on OnX Hunt app either.

I guess this is what I need to do. I'm only a couple of miles from the courthouse and the Clerk's office has been pretty efficient the couple of times I've dealt with them.
