Anyone know how bad Santa Rosa Island got hit? I assume the beaches got washed pretty good similar to other beaches along 30A and westward. Saw reports of typical strong hurricane damage in Fort Walton Beach (flooding, trees down, some damage to buildings).

Any news on the fishing pier?

My villa in Rosemary had some minor damage.

Paid some locals to fix and clean up the mess.

There's Okaloosa Island and there's Santa Rosa Beach.

Both are in good enough shape for what happened. People are on the beach today, its beautiful. Water is already back to normal color.

Thanks for the update and correction on the names. We stay at The Breakers every couple of years, and were even thinking of going down for a short trip around Christmas time. A cool breeze of the gulf will feel warm compared to the below zero windchills we'll be dealing with up here.
