a lot of people use their phone in the gym for music. Having the HRM will benefit them for sure.

Depends on what you want to be "good", I guess. IPS is a bit sharper, brighter, and has better color reproduction. AMOLED uses less space, less battery, has better response time and produces deeper blacks.

strapped or sitting in a cup holder on the treadmill / elliptical. It will be a plus for people into that thing. I know a lot of runners that will use it.
