Napoleon, I have a Samsung fridge as well. Had a lot of trouble with the ice maker/water dispenser, so I completely shut off the water supply. We have been having a problem lately where water builds up in the bottom and then leaks out onto the floor. Ideas?
I have the same or a similar problem with my Samsung. Ice melts from the front of the dispenser and drips water into the tray when I use the ice dispenser. Seen some others on the Internet with the same problem but no fix. Always having to clean up the freaking water.

My Samsung drips water down to bottom of freezer. It then builds up a sheet of ice and the freezer slide is hard to open. I let it go for a week or so before I get in there and chip it out. It gets close to 1.5" thick sometimes.

I had the same problem in my Samsung refrigerator. The problem for me was that the drain was freezing so the water had no place to go and would slowly build up over time. Take off the back panel and see if the drain is full of ice. If it is you will need to get that cleaned out. You can just wait for it to melt or use some hot water and a turkey baster. The problem supposedly occurs because the metal piece that goes from the heating element down into the drain is too short so the drain does not get enough heat transferred to it to keep it from freezing.
I took a piece of copper wire about 6 inches long, wrapped one end a couple of times around the heating element and stuck the other end down into the drain. This seems to transfer enough heat down into the drain to keep it from freezing. It has been about a year since I did this but it seems to be working so far.
Now that I think about it my problem may have been water under the drawers for that fix.
I think I changed the sensor for the icing up problem. I have had numerous problems with this refrigerator.

mine makes ice and then doesn't make ice. It may drop one set of ice per day. Pisses me off, POS

there are a lot of Samsung flaws with no real fix. I'm mulling just refusing to work on Samsung. Nothing worse than telling a paying customer it can't be fixed.
Or it can, but you have to spend $500+ in parts alone.
For thirty years from the 70's to 00's fridges were simple, had strong seals, simple timers and powerful compressors. Someone decided they used to much electricity so they ruined fridges. I hate new fridges, but I love them because they aren't bad to work on and make me $$. Personally I will never get a new fridge.
I went and got the most bullet proof fridge I know of, a 500 series sub-zero from the late 90s. I can keep it running forever and ever.

One of two things. either your drain in the freezer is blocked up, or your water inlet valve is letting a minute amount of water through.
I do not know why fridge builders do not run a piece of wire to the drain hole from the heater to keep ice from forming over the drain. It's a fix I do to ever freezer I touch.

Chryso for the win. Do this and the problem will never return.
Samsung fridge not defrosting 90% of time bad sensors, 5% bad heater, 5% bad control.
Samsung controls are usually the cheapest so there is that.
