Safe to say the poors are doing most of the hoarding

While all the ground beef was gone I was able to stock up on USDA Prime steaks.
Academy was stripped bare of ammo but there were still plenty of Federal and Remington premium brass case megapacks of .223 and 45ACP.
Glad these are my normal items.

Idk where you shop but I had to get fricking choice steaks instead of prime.
But my local grocery store is full of everything.... Except bagged onions. Wtf

I wouldn’t say it’s just “poors”. Most people have no income coming in and have kids at home to feed so they’re not sitting at home eating steaks every meal.

well they may not be eating steaks, but they sure as hell are feeding the chillins cereal. Doesn't anyone ever make their kids eggs or pancakes anymore?

Most people are woefully unprepared for something like this. Myself included. I've always thought about it because I'm anxious by nature, but my eyes have been opened at how shortsighted and ignorant the public can be, and how unreliable the government is (as seen by watching the senate right now).
I can sense my mindset shifting in the midst of all this. I think we will come out of this as a country, but as soon as shite gets back to normal, my #1 priority is preparing for the next disaster so that I don't feel so uneasy. I am not panicked, but I am a bit worried.

I've had to go to 4 different groceries in the past couple of weeks. No hoarding involved, but none of them have everything on my list. Here's how I think they're doing based on being stocked up:
1. Ideal Market - The latinos don't appear to be hoarding.
2. Langenstein's - Pretty well stocked. They put a limit on paper goods (TP) per customer.
3. Rouse's - Some empty shelves.
4. Walmart - Has been hammered consistently. Lots of empty shelves.
