Has anybody ever bought or used one of these? If so, did you notice a difference in your energy or mood?
Thinking about getting one because I can't stand the dark, grey, cold, wet, winter months... freaking pisses me off that it's dark before I even get home in the evening.

I have one because I live in the PNW. I've never noticed any difference when using it.

It worked for the guy in Northern Exposure and I have to imagine the technology has advanced greatly since then.

It doesn't work. I tried a few years ago. I found that keeping my feet warm and dry helped the most. Oh and bourbon. Lots of bourbon

Do you become sad or depressed during the winter months ?
1. Consider a vitamin D3 Supplement.
2. Try getting yourself in sunlight during the early afternoon hours.
3. perhaps, a medicine like Provigil would help boost your mood. requires a doctor's prescription.

What brand did you use? Necessary to buy the $100+ one, or okay to just buy a $50?
