The Russians are by far the worse of the developed nations when it comes to tech

More like 800kg burier.

Joke cred to the late Robin Williams on that one.

It said a special commission would look into why the mission failed.

Hopefully not a Chinese or North Korean-style special commission.

Guess that's bound to happen when you run the most intelligent scientists out of the country - and imprison the remaining ones with independent thought.

Do you trust the Russians enough to believe this? Did it crash or did they crash it or did it not crash at all. There is no way to confirm this.

Preliminary findings showed that the 800kg lander had "ceased to exist as a result of a collision with the surface of the Moon", it said in a statement.
FFS, they were directly quoting the agency.

No one is allowed on the moon without express permission of “the others” that have a big base there. Russians aren’t on the guest list.

We were banned for like 40-50 years but apparently allowed back now

Chinese I don’t know

Another failed attempt at reaching the moon...but we did it 60 years ago, more than once? Interesting.

Yup.

We did it 6 times in a row.

Perfectly.

Drove moon rovers around and came back.

In and out - 12 total times without a hitch.

Too bad we have “lost” all the diagrams and technical specs that show how we did it. It would really help out other countries if they could look at it now.
