I'm in awful running shape and haven't gone running in a long time (though I've been doing spin) so I actually was very pleased with an 8:20 mile because I realize how much I can improve. My legs are in good shape but by god my respiratory system is not. Any tips on increasing respiratory without running I can do inbetween runs?

Any other form of cross training, swimming, biking, rowing, etc. will help. Plus those are no to low impact to help your legs recover

Give this a look. I haven't stopped working out my respiratory system since I found it.

I haven't used this particular product, but Instarted looking into it since hearing about it on JRE. Supposedly helps your breathing a ton when you're working out, along with other benefits to your health as well.

Would that hamper your ability to improve your breathing even when not taking it or would it also improve your permanent cardiovascular endurance?

Honesty, I don't know. Pretty sure it's just meant to be used as a supplement for moderate improvement of your cardio performance and resistance to fatigue. I'd imagine its effects will be noticeable to begin with while using it, but will also probably fade away pretty quickly after you stop taking it.

Containing the active ingredients adenosine and cordycepic acid, as well as a host of phytonutrients, cordyceps has been shown in some studies to increase oxygen utilization, aerobic capacity, and cellular energy

The Shroom TECH Sport formula is built upon the well-studied Cordyceps Sinensis mushroom. This mushroom has been tested in multiple clinical studies, some of which demonstrated increased endurance, resistance to fatigue and improvement in oxygen utilization by as much as 50%. It is believed that one way the cordyceps mushroom achieves this is by affecting the ATP cycle. By providing raw Adenosine, ADP is converted to ATP more readily, allowing the body more bioavailable cellular energy.

No Peptides, no cares.

Do you have any breathing issues at Spin?

Nope. Not at all. Even when busting my arse, fricking exhausted and soaked in sweat and my legs feel like they are about to explode, I don't feel I really get much of a respiratory workout I feel like. Whereas today, my respiratory definitly held me back.
