Sooo...how are we supposed to find new schools for our kids if they are all closed for the next month? This week just keeps getting better and better.

Oh, and my A/C is apparently broken too.

I hope it’s true & you get your refunds. Keep us posted.

I received my tuition refund check in the mail yesterday. Reports are all people who sent in a release form were issued checks also.

I'm still not stoked about the whole situation but glad to be made whole financially at least.

Just had a family w/ 3 kids move on my street, all of them went to Runnels. They all got into St. George

It's a sad situation, but at least that part you can now put behind you. Kinda speaks to me more of financial mismanagement as opposed to outright fraud, if they were willing to refund you.

What was the release? Something about not suing them?

Eh, I put this level of mismanagement into the fraud category but that’s my opinion.

Yeah the brother benefactor is a lawyer and it was a release to sue for damages in exchange for the refund.

I don’t know what you would sue for as long as you got your money back but who knows.

The ending of the school like this is pretty sad all around. It’s a shame Kelly Runnels didn’t accept the changes proposed by others to keep the school financially viable.
