By saying you "throw like a girl" to someone as an insult, you are saying girls are inferior to boys who throw it the right way.

Generally speaking, girls are, in fact, inferior to boys as athletes. No amount of pc sunshine pumping can change that. It doesn't mean that they are inferior as people though. Their slavery to emotion and lack of a logical thought process cause that.

i dont think anyone is suggesting otherwise.

The thing is using an identity as an insult, even if coded, has enduring impacts on people. its not that they are inferior to boys at athletics but using it as insult is where the issue is.

i suggest you stop buying kotex.

And to the haters, you missed the point.

I get it. I disagree with introducing perceived barriers in the first place in order to convince someone they can overcome.

At no age, none, not any, are girls faster than boys.

What's wrong with that?

Sure, girls mature faster than boys, and SOME girls are faster than SOME boys, but the elite boys at any age level blow the quickly developed girls out of the water.

I must say though, I love seeibg overconfidence in sprinting. Nothing as funny as parents realizing a girl can dust their son. But the elite boys don't experience that.

So telling someone they throw like a girl is NOT ok.. But calling people nerds or gay because they don't prefer inferior mass produced beer is ok.

This I all learned last night.

Only problem I had with that commercial was that they never asked the girls to fight. But asked the boys that question. That and it was a freakin feminine hygiene commercial during the super bowl.

I don't know, in elementary school we had this girl from Africa in our classes. She used to smoke Mewelde Moore on the daily.

She was also pretty legit at Eraser Chaser.

I would think the father of little girls in this thread would have caught the fact that their daughters only had a chance to see this commercial because they were waiting to see Katy Perry perform at half time a spot she got because of the way she looks and sings songs written for her by men.

The real question is how many women switched to playtex after watching it?

Should white people be offended when someone uses the phrase, "jumps like a white boy," or "dances like a white boy?"

Is it an insult? Should we view it as an insult? Should we have commercials preaching for awareness?
Hell no! Is it true? Yes, but there are plenty of outliers who could prove the phrases wrong, but still for the majority of time, when compared to black people, it's true.
I didn't care for the commercial, because I can't stand the victim mentality. There are just as many adolescent/pubescent boys who have just as much low self esteem as the girls, but you don't see the cries for help.
