Calvin Borel is another nice one. Thought is was awesome for him to call me "boss", then I realized he called everyone that. Good dude. Almost got the shite kicked out of us together in the paddock area at Oaklawn when our horse went fricking nuts.

Also met and spoke with Joe Pantoliano (Guido from Risky Business, Sopranos, etc) for quite a while after he came to an organization I work with and to speak to us and others.

He was so down to earth. Not pretentious in the least.

ALso met Kathleen Turner in her glory days about 25 years ago at The Maple Leaf. SHe was with the crew from a movie she was making. I told my friends I was going to buy her a beer. Went to her with an unopened longneck. SHe graciously said "you know I am married". I was lit and told her I was not trying to have sex with her. She said "well in that case "thank you". She downed in in less than 10 seconds and gave me a hug.

Rudest: Karl Malone. Was at his new house a few years ago. Dude yelled at me across the job site as I was leaving. Contractor told me he is an arse to everyone. Just get out and he would take care of him.

He's always been friendly in these parts. Held the door open for me as I was leaving a store and he was coming in. Other time I "met" him was in a gas station. He seemed alright. Signed autographs for a couple kids that came up and asked.

Not nice but not blatantly rude - Joe Montana last year in Springfield, MO to speak to a SW Missouri area high school athletes gala. He was downing beers (by himself) and just going thru the motions.

I am sorry, that that is kind of awesome.

Nicest - Karl Malone. I ride the same shuttle with him to Tiger Stadium every home game. Super cool as long as you talk to him about anything besides Karl Malone.

Rudest - Tony Dorsett. Set up a business meeting for him once to be a spokesman for one of the casinos in BR when they first opened. Asked him to sign the rookie trading card I had of him. He was a total pick about it.

Derek Jeter, I spilled coffee on his shoes and he just laughed it off.

Aziz Ansari, he bought us a round of beers.
