RTIC vs. YETI

Does the RTIC compare? I've heard good things and see it's about half the price.
Thanks...

holds ice for days just like a yeti. it may hold ice better for 3 days instead of 4, but otherwise just fine.
eta- do you get a cool truck sticker though?

I have a 65qt RTIC will hold ice as long as any ice chest in its class.
It's also a true 65qts

Drinking out of my 32 Oz right now. Keeps drinks cold all day, there's no reason to pay double for a cup that does the exact same thing. Even if there was a performance difference, you would never have a drink in there long enough to notice.

I have a 32 and 20 rtic and a 20 yeti. I actually think rtic holds ice longer.

Buy a Brute (now Bison Coolers) ice chest and thank me later. I've got one of both (Yeti and Brute) and I absolutely love the Brute, particularly for the price difference.
Now, whether or not it has as much ice after 5 days is largely irrelevant since my ice chest is cleaned and put away well before that.
That has always been my beef with these fancier chests - I need a sturdy ice chest that is serviceable for keeping ice and can deal with a lard arse or two standing on it while fishing. If it holds water in solid form for 120 hours, that is lagniappe, but I don't want to pay for that ability if at all possible.

Truck sticker? I slapped that bitch on my tumbler for the full D-bag effect.

For the cups go with the Walmart Ozark brand for $10

Already had a yeti 32oz but got a RTIC one as a bday present bout a week ago. I never got around to returning it and just ended up using it. I cannot tell a difference between the two. Get the RTIC, its cheaper plus it comes with a handle which is pretty nice.

I'm a fan of wheels for ice chests. I see Bison offers one, not sure on the others.
No use in lugging around hundreds of pounds when you can roll it!

The 16 page thread on the OB wasn't enough.

There's no difference as far as the cups are concerned. My company is bringing them in from overseas at a fraction of the cost and there's really no difference. There's other brands out there too. As long as there isn't a seam you won't notice any difference.

If you want the cups, get the Ozark woods cups from Walmart. 10 bucks and they're exactly the same.

The Ozark's trails at Walmart is just like Yetti is the exact same cut. Except for the label. More tthan half the price.

The ozark one is shorter and wider and has a giant ugly logo on the side.
I have a 32 RTIC and I prefer it over the yeti, it works the same and is a little taller so that it can be a little more narrow at the bottom, which means it's easier to get in and out of my cupholder.

Yes. They are as good, if not better...for half the price. A couple of guys that worked for YETI left and started RTIC.

My nephew goes to Ole Miss. He told me he goes Yeti hunting Sunday morning after home games. Some tailgaters are in a rush to get off campus, they end up leaving their Yeti coolers in a rush. He has collected 3 Yeti coolers so far. Not the small ones, but the big arse ones. Try that during tailgating season.
